Join an early morning tour of the Vatican and step inside before the general public. With priority entry, you’ll be among the first to explore the Vatican Museums—home to some of the greatest masterpieces of Western art.
Guided by an expert in art and religion, you’ll walk through the Gallery of Tapestries, the striking Gallery of Maps, and the Raphael Rooms, where the iconic School of Athens awaits. Your private guide will share rich insights into the history, symbolism, and genius behind each work.
The experience culminates in the Sistine Chapel, where Michelangelo’s Creation of Adam and The Last Judgment leave a lasting impression. PLEASE NOTE
General Information:
- Meet your guide outside the main entrance of the Vatican Museums located in Viale Vaticano, next to the huge historical door with statues on top. The guide will show a white sign “Towns of Italy”.
- Please let us know in advance any special need or impaired mobility of the clients and we will do our best to accomodate them.
- Entry to the Vatican Museums is based on strictly timed tickets. For this reason, late arrivals cannot be guaranteed access.
The Vatican Museums imposes a mandatory dress code: knees and shoulders must be covered. otherwise you will not be able to enter. - Please note it is prohibited to bring tripods, backpacks, camping or other bulky bags or luggage/trollies. You are allowed to enter with medium and small sized backpacks carried on a shoulder which must be checked by metal detectors and or opened and visually inspected by the Vatican authorities in the Vatican city.
- Please be prepared to show a photo ID (or photocopy) such as a passport, student ID or driver`s license upon entry at the Vatican as you may be asked for one. We will need to know the names and ages of those on your tour especially when they qualify for reduced fare tickets.
Cancellation policy:
For bookings from 1 to 8 pax: Cancellation/reschedule permitted within 8 days from the tour starting day.
