Via Giulia

Via Giulia is one of Rome’s most historic and picturesque streets, lined with Renaissance palaces, charming boutiques, and hidden art treasures.

The perfect place to take a stress-free stroll on a busy or otherwise mundane day is, Via Giulia. A cobbled street wide enough you won’t have to elbow your way to get anywhere, or get caught in a series of bodily collisions with rushing locals, is quite a unique Roman experience. It was comissioned by Pope Julius II, from whom the name was derived, and is home to several beautiful churches, cultural buildings, and elegant palazzi.
