Stilelibero: Prati’s newest addition to its restaurant and nightlife scene

Stilelibero, or freestyle, is the new restaurant and cocktail bar in the hip Prati neighbourhood. And Chef Max Mariola, Gambero Rosso’s tv star, has created the signature menu, where simple flavours combined with first-class ingredients create the perfect culinary journey.

But Mariola’s menu isn’t the only highlight, the interior decor is also something to look forward to. You’ll be dining in an elegant contemporary setting designed by Tommaso Guerra, where blue accents mix with light colors to create a soothing and intimate atmosphere. The fashionista touch is also quite visible in the locale, where jewels and designer handbags serve as paintings, and the walls seem like a work of art.

But let’s talk about the food! From appetisers to desserts, Chef Max Mariola delivers. Absolutely try the beef tartare with quail eggs, crunchy capers, a parsley pesto sauce and shallots. And remember to mix all the ingredients together to get the best flavour!

Other A-listers are the homemade pappardelle with white ragù and the buttery pumpkin ravioli with truffle shavings. Definitely try the lamb meatballs on a cacio e pepe sauce as an appetiser! For desserts, we had the crunchy chantilly cream puffs dipped in a dark chocolate sauce, heavenly. And while you’re enjoying your dinner, check out the chefs in action from the large window overlooking the kitchen.

As you walk down the stairs, piano notes floating in the background welcome you. The bar is aesthetically striking, with stacks of gin, vodka and rum bottles dominating the space.

The vibe is cozy and intimate, with bricked walls, dimmed lights and designer sofas and chairs. What to order? The mixology cocktails are delicious and fresh, but there is also a great wine selection to choose from. Apart from savouring creative drinks and listening to live music till late, the bar also serves small dishes including explosive club sandwiches.
