Food alert: there’s a new Japanese restaurant in town, and it’s called MOKU
Via Tiburtina is always effervescent, but on Thursday January 25th the area was jiggling with the rhythm of Japanese culture. Moku is the new sushi restaurant which will delight those looking for exotic cuisine and zen design.
Get comfortable in the wooden tables, order on the touchpad and enjoy some nice sushi, freshly made by the chef trained in Japan. Of course you will find your favorite classic makis and rolls, but don’t forget to also taste Moku’s original and special creations: salmon and kiwi, avocado and strawberry, vegan roll, and the black rice and salmon.
If you also pay attention to the decoration, you will not be disappointed: far away from the usual loaded decoration of Asian restaurants, MOKU was built with the zen and peaceful Japanese state of mind. White wood all around and suspended gardens create a refreshing environment at this new restaurant.
Marisa Jiang Kefeng, the restaurant owner and a Chinese business woman, wanted to highlight the strong link between wellness and nature, a strong value in Japanese culture.
This “garden-restaurant”, as Marisa Jiang Kefeng loves to describe it, is full of promises to take a walk along the delicious road of Japanese tastes.
