Antiques, handicrafts and Italian design pieces in Trastevere
Established by Daniela Pancalli, in the core of historic Trastevere, L’Ora del Té is a quaint and spacious environment where you can find antiques alongside modern, country home style furnishings, Italian design pieces and handicrafts. The shop offers a unique space – the result of Pancalli’s long stint in London and rich experience in restoration and antiques – where you can find a variety of eclectic objects, each with their own story. A stone’s throw from the church of Santa Cecilia in an area dotted with authentic handicraft boutiques, the shop consists of a central room with two smaller spaces decorated with arches and stairs. Here, you can browse vases, lamps, bookcases, and much more. Among the gems you can find Gaetano Pesce resin vases, polycarbonate tableware, original pieces by French design company Ibride, Mario Luca Giusti dishes and jugs, beautiful pots, objects made from natural materials and of course the aromatic infusions of Tea Forte, the shop’s featured product made with green leaf silk filters.
