A three-day event dedicated to culinary and wine enthusiasts and connoisseurs of Italy
The three-day event dedicated to the excellence of food, wine, and culture in Italy is back again offering a delicious taste. The Florentine festival, Pitti Taste, returns for the second year in a row at the Fortezza da Basso from 4 to 6 February 2023.
Pitti Taste is entering its 16th edition welcoming 538 exhibitors with 100 new companies participating. This year the art of music merges with the art of food to create a new combination: Jazzy Taste. Pasta is the protagonist of this year’s event and will be the focus of talks with industry professionals.
“Flour, water and nothing more – leads back to its origins, to the land that produces the wheat and to generations of producers who grind, knead, draw and dry to give tables around the world the passion at the tip of the fork. “
The immersive experience of Pitti Taste isn’t confined to the walls of Fortezza da Basso. FuoriDiTaste will be holding over 50 different events including themed dinners, tastings, and presentations spread all over the historic city with a fully booked calendar to enjoy a new type of wine and dine experience.
“Taste has changed its skin while remaining true to itself. The move from the Stazione Leopolda to the Fortezza da Basso – which was necessary during the pandemic – offered us the right opportunity to let the fair express its full potential. The new setting was liked first and foremost by the companies: 90 percent of the 2022 participants also returned to this edition. In addition, the spaces of the Fortress made it possible to include as many as 100 interesting new features. The new entries were selected with the usual rigor by direct scouting or by evaluating the more than 250 applications we received.”
States Agostino Poletto, general manager of Pitti Immagine.
