Discovering Roman seasonal cuisine
Discovering Roman seasonal cuisine: a dish for every season, based on the harvest of the immense Lazio countryside.
I am Arianna Pasquini, chef and PhD student in political studies and contemporary philosophy in Rome, where I live. I was born and raised in Rome but my family is from Naples where I spent a significative amount of time as a kid. I lived and worked as a chef in Sydney and London and then moved back to the Italian capital. I collaborated with several magazines and radios in Rome, talking about current events, news and food. At the moment I work with cooking lessons, gastronomic tours and as a private chef. My food focus is on hand made pasta and seafood, and roman and Neapolitan rooted traditional regional recipes. My second life as a university researcher (arianna.pasquini@uniroma1.it) is based on my curiosity for feminisms and contemporary political ecology interactions in global climate and care crisis.
