Eataly Rome awaits you with two weekends devoted to the roman classics: Amatriciana & Carbonara

The amatriciana and carbonara are quintessential dishes of Roman cuisine, and this May Eataly invited the best entities of the Roman restaurant industry, selected quality raw materials and chose many types of dry and fresh pasta to give you an unrepeatable experience, including gluten-free proposals.

There will also be cooking shows, classes, creative workshops for children and lots of music! Get ready for two weekends of full immersion in Roman authenticity May 12-14 and May 19-21 -on the third floor of Eataly.

THE FOOD

The restaurants invited are among the best roman-food restaurants the city has to offer:

  • Ercoli 1928, with fresh maccheroncini amatriciana and carbonara mezze maniche
  • Flavio Al Velavevodetto, with rigatoni carbonara
  • Pastificio Secondi, with ricotta, amatriciana and pecorino filled ravioli, ravioli with cheese, egg and bacon, and fried lasagna with the amatriciana sauce
  • Polpetta Gluten Free, with fresh spaghettoni amatriciana patties with pecorino cheese as well as chicken meatball carbonara with egg yolk, bacon cheek, pecorino cheese and pepper and for the sweet-toothed, caprese cake patties with custard, dehydrated orange, coconut flour and Sichuan pepper
  •  Sant’Alberto, with a carbonara burger and beef meatballs with amatriciana sauce  
  • Renato Ruggiero, with amatriciana pasta omelette, as well as the version with carbonara, potato croquettes Neapolitan style, gricia suppli
  • Bottega Ioli & Matteucci, with savory maritozzi filled with carbonara or amatriciana sauces and classic sweet maritozzi in mignon version

HOW IT WORKS

The Amatriciana & Carbonara Festival will take place on the third floor of Eataly Roma. Below are the dates and times of this unmissable event:

Friday, May 12: from 7 p.m. to midnight
Saturday, May 13: 12 noon to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to midnight
Sunday, May 14: 12 noon to 4 p.m. and 6:30 to 10:30 p.m.

Friday, May 19: 7 p.m. to midnight
Saturday, May 20: 12 noon to 4 p.m. | 7 p.m. to midnight
Sunday, May 21: 12 noon to 4 p.m. | 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Admission is free of charge. All proposals can be purchased through tokens (1 token, €2).
